Qld: Five people injured after deck collapses

BRISBANE, Feb 12 AAP - Five people were rushed to hospital when a section of the deck
they were standing on at a house on Brisbane's northside collapsed, causing them to fall
six metres, a Queensland ambulance spokeswoman said tonight.

About 15 people were standing on the deck, during a party at a house in Swan Terrace,
Windsor, when it collapsed just before 8pm (AEST), she said.

Four ambulance units attended the scene and five people were taken to the Royal Brisbane
Hospital with lower leg fractures.

One of the injured also suffered internal injuries.
